Tackle Football FAQ
What kind of equipment do I need to purchase?
- football Helmet
- Football Shoulder pads

- Cleats (non metal)
- Water jug (64oz is strongly recommended)
- Padded practice pants
What is the practice commitment for tackle football player?
Practices can be broken down into three phases: Conditioning, Pre-Season and Regular Season & Playoffs.
Practices are typically held at Montbello High School unless weather or extenuating circumstances force a change.
Regular season: August–November
Playoffs: November–December
National Championship: December in Charlotte, North Carolina (age division & qualification required)
Practices: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm at Montbello High School. Some days, it will be at A&B. The coach will let you know what days.
Games: The first game will be around August 15th this season. Home games are held at various Douglas County high schools and away games are played across Colorado, including Colorado Springs, Brighton, Loveland, and Fort Collins. All games are played on high school or college football fields.
Player Information Requirements
- Enter all player details exactly as they appear on their birth certificate.
- Determine your player’s age as of July 31, 2025 to ensure correct division placement.

- 2 Months of Speed/Strength/Agility Training
